Sun-soaked Photos of Europe’s Popular Thai-themed Water Park

For those of us in places still in the throes of winter, Spanish photographer José Javier Serrano (better known as Yosigo)’s sun-soaked images in the series Siam Park feel especially appealing. Reminiscent of a 1980s postcard, they also feel like a somewhat humorous study of theme parks and their pull to the masses. Shot at Siam Park, a Thai-themed water park that opened in 2008 in the Canary Islands, Spain, that claims to be the most spectacular in Europe, Yosigo captures avid recreationers amidst carefully crafted exotic lands.
