French photographer Cyrille de Vignemont creates what he calls “sensorial narratives.” His latest work attempts to recreate his childhood and is divided into small vignettes that give off the feel of an arthouse film; evocative, soft shots that summon a myriad of things, many of which are sensory indeed. The vignettes are poetically titled as well—How The Pollen Falls explores nostalgia; I Thought We Were Alone revisits falling in love for the first time; Hear Soft Echoes interprets his dreams about strange creatures living in nature; And We Will Never Leave This Place recalls the year he spent in the countryside far away from his family.
