Glastonbury Tor dates back to the time of King Arthur, and dominates the landscape in Somerset, England. The town itself has been a center of pilgrimage for thousands of years, and continues to attract people with a wide range of beliefs. Watts has been documenting the characters that are magnetized to this modern-day mythical town in his series, Avalon.

Through Watts’ eyes, we can see that Glastonbury is not just an epicenter for festival-goers in wellies and glitter, it is much more profound than that. It’s a vibrant new-age community full of witches, druids, green men and healers— those seeking to connect with an ancient alternative lifestyle through the energy of a spiritual and sacred land.
