Fake Video Campaign Full of Every Advertising Cliché You’ve Ever Seen

“Did we put a baby in here?”

Feast your eyes on the best worst video you have ever seen. This is a Generic Brand Video is chock-full of the most bland, stereotypical and manipulative clips that bombard us in mainstream advertising on a daily basis. From caring superficially about the environment to supposed racial and gender equality, this narrated video pokes fun at every pandering ploy. Originally based on Kendra’s Eash’s clever piece in McSweeney’s, the stock video provider Dissolve boldly stepped up to make her written word a fantastically cliché reality. Speaking of their inspiration, Dissolve admitted “The minute we saw the brilliant piece, we we knew it was our moral imperative to make that generic brand video. No surprise, we had all the footage.”
