We love these diptychs from North Carolina-based graphic designer and photographer Carra Sykes. Mother + Daughter is a continuing project inspired by Sykes’ uncle, who always jokes with Sykes’ mother, saying she dresses like her daughter. The idea is a good one, and the execution even better. The shots are quirky and lighthearted; the resemblance uncanny. Exploring the generational bond and gap between mother and daughter, these photos just make you smile.
