I learned to do photo offset in the late 60s while in high school – from 1994 thru 2005 I published a monthly motorcycle magazine via web as in these photos. When I first started we still had to make pate-up boards and I lived thru all the digital processes as computers progressed. I went through a number of printers over the years as they slowly disappeared. I miss the smell of the ink, the lithography chemicals, burning plates, pagination booklets etc.
