That organization has been nowhere to be found in the devastated areas of NYC, post-Sandy. Even now, over a week later. They have become the butt of jokes around here. Donate locally to groups who actually care, like Occupy Sandy. They have had boots on the ground since day one, and are only growing. They are not only more effective, but are also more concerned with bringing healthy sustaining relief suited to the people in need. http://interoccupy.net/occupysandy/ Why is everyone donating to the Red Cross?
