International Call for Submissions: ‘Come Together’ Group Exhibition at FotoWeekDC

Feature Shoot is now accepting submissions for ‘Come Together’, a group photo exhibition curated by Alison Zavos and Amanda Gorence as part of the 2012 FotoWeekDC festival in Washington, D.C.

‘Come Together’ will be a mash-up of contemporary imagery that visually alludes to song titles by The Beatles.

Photographers from around the world are invited to submit one or more images that identify with any of the following words:

hay, fool, king, raccoon, glass, lane, day, strawberry, onion, honey, garden, sleep, penny, pie, paperback, octopus, rock, trip, dig, fix, shout, guitar, field, writer, sun, hole, golden, twist, weep, diamonds, bulldog, hill, tour, and pony

Please submit images at 700 pixels wide (72 dpi) to: submissions@featureshoot.com with ‘Come Together’ in the subject line.

The deadline for submissions is October 9, 2012.

*FotoWeekDC is an annual photography festival taking place in Washington, D.C. from November 9-18, 2012. Now in its fifth year, the festival attracts over 40,000 photography enthusiasts that come from around the country to partake in seminars, portfolio reviews, exhibitions and events happening throughout the week.

‘hey’ – Lennon & McCartney wrote about greeting Jude and asking about sad songs.
