China Chow is about the texture, fabric and impressions on food in China. Treated more as a landscape than food, it makes one think before you decide to eat it.

Stefen Chow currently shuttles between Beijing and Singapore for work and family. His interest in photography began when he was a climbing member of a team scaling Mount Everest in 2005. Intrigued how photography can encapsulate an experience, he became a professional photographer soon after. Chow has recently co-founded ‘The Poverty Line’ with economist Lin Hui-Yi, a visual project exploring the contextuality of poverty across five continents. China Chow is a personal project.
