When we conducted our reader survey a few months ago we learned that many photographers wanted an opportunity to submit to the popular ‘Theme Friday’ section of Feature Shoot, a section where we found photographs that fit random themes such as: abandoned swimming pools, balloon art, dogs in the bed, the kitchen sink, etc.
Due to popular demand, we’ve decided to accept submissions for a new series of themed online group shows which will run on the site every two weeks. Readers will have two weeks to submit existing work or work created especially for the series. The first theme is ‘car wash’. The deadline for submissions is January 27, 2012.
Photographers are invited to submit images to:

Up to five images can be submitted (480 pixels wide, 72 dpi, under 85kb).

I don’t have enything from the car wash theme, but I really like the idea and can’t waint to see a result:) Maybe I’ll even try snapping something, but it will be rather hard in freezing Norway at the moment;)
