Jonathon Kambouris was born in 1982 and raised outside Detroit, Michigan. He moved to New York in 2001 to study photography at Parsons The New School for Design. Since then, he’s been shooting many editorial and commercial assignments, while keeping a strong emphasis on personal work.
His new series, Beer Garden, documents 20 beer cans at the end stages of their life. This project captures the aging details and textures of the cans and gives the viewer a little insight into the life of the objects. While some of the beer cans came from around the streets of Brooklyn, others are from a much farther location and period of time.

Cool. I just got that feeling back that I had when I was a kid collecting beer cans. So much better flat then round.
Another great series from one of the best photographers in the biz! Cheers Jonathon!!!
Brad Guice did this in NYC in the eighties & Phil Marco before that
