Fong Qi Wei’s series, ‘Exploded Flowers’,which was partially inspired by Todd McLellan’s ‘Disassembly’ project, is a dissection of many different flowers including chrysanthemums, lilies, sunflowers, and roses. Wei,who is based in Singapore, has been photographing for nine years and describes himself as ‘a serious hobbyist’ when it comes to photography.
