More people wont have to die (they will still execute people in certain states whether or not we’re taking photos and documenting their last meals or not), just would be interesting to see more going forward..

It saddens me to know that this was the last thing someone ate…I can almost picture them eating it thinking about what will happen when they don’t exist anymore. Even though they did terrible things, they were still human, and they deserve more than for society to just give up on them. I think everyone should get a second chance, and no one should be told that there’s nothing more that can be done :/

That’s reality dude, people are being killed on death row every single day. It might be morbid and disturbing to you but it’s life and I think it’s extremely important for people to be exposed to the reality of what is happening outside their golden gates. Great concept James.

Bit of an odd reasoning there; doing more of this series will not cause people to die. It is morbid and fascinating and it is also not the first artwork to be about death.

I love the simplicity of it and how it immediately spring questions to mind about the inmates and and their choices of food.
