Li Wei was born in 1976 in Hohot, Inner Mongolia. He currently lives and works in Beijing. Of this series, The Earth, he says,’Lying on the border of China, Inner Mongolia is the largest grazing region in China. On this land live Han and Mongolian people. My affection for my hometown made me reflect on the land. Since January 2008, I have been traveling and photographing Inner Mongolia. After many travels I present you these pictures, which represent the real life of people living on the border’.
