Jen Davis lives and works in New York City. She received her MFA from Yale University, and her BA from Columbia College Chicago. Her work is an honest and poignant look at self-image and isolation. She currently has a solo show at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art.

Nicely taken photographs, but what message are you trying to convey?
Great work, very interesting perspective on body image and sexuality.
I love these pictures. They have a very classical theme, like a Vermeer painting.

These are interesting, though I felt that some of these pictures (particularly of the two girls in the mirror) didn’t offer any new perspectives on body image.
I think these pictures are so realistic its freaky, i am glad they are not overly ‘composed’. They are just plain intriguing – more would be awesome! Bring up lots of emotion too. Awesome
