Andreas Meichsner graduated from Hanover’s University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2006 and now works on commercial and editorial assignments, with clients including A10 magazine, Anderhalten architects, and Geo magazines. His photo project, Arcadia, won the second prize at the European Architectural Photography Award. On his latest series, All Sorted, he says: ‘It examines modern society’s dilemma of coexisting needs for freedom, aligned with security and structure. Holidays are the enclaves of protection from the imponderables of daily life, while at the same time being the “horror vacui” of sudden inactivity. All Sorted raises questions and inspiration in the viewers to question their own desires and longings’.
